Back in Portland Town and New York bound!

After a fantastic experience in Detroit, MI, BUNKhead has returned to Portland, OR. (If you haven’t checked out the Detroit blog yet, its FUNKYSOURCREAM.BLOGSPOT.com.) While in Detroit, BUNKhead began using more color in the drawings and comics… and really enjoyed it. Who would’ve thought? It took a few weeks in Detroit for us to figure out why color stuck around for so long. Heh. Anyway, We’re not done with black and white and hope to, when back in NY in a few weeks, work in block printing to further explore the expansive spaces between black and white. But while in Portland, we think we will move from markers to digital coloring (as someone, ahem, took their markers back and left us colorless…boo) and see what happens when there is an inappropriately large palette in front of us. Should be fun. So stay tuned, land lubbers, and catch us up on the flipside!
